Traditionally woven into kilims and rugs, this plant is said to be capable of warding off bad luck. It also represents abundance, since it grows easily and quickly—it’s also frequently used on bags of flour for this reason.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cb\u003eThe Material\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cp\u003eThese pieces are made with recycled polyester left over from production companies who manufacture polymers for textiles, medical, and engineering purposes, and which would otherwise end up in a landfill. The polyester runoff is transformed through heat into a soft, sustainable fiber with the look and feel of wool.
