Business meets casual - Taylor's loose cut-pile grid has the cozy feel of an oversized plaid.

  • Taylor is part of our Lino Collection, named for esteemed linocut artists and the sculptural quality of its cut-pile motifs.
  • Made in India
  • New Zealand blended wool on cotton
  • High pile: about 3/4" thick (18mm)
  • Color palette: bone beige, cream, taupe

  • Due to its handmade nature a 3% variance in size, color and texture is to be expected.

  • We’ll email you a mock-up of your custom rug within 1 week of purchase.
  • You'll have 1 week to review and approve the design to begin production.
  • If we don't receive your approval within 1 week, your order will be canceled.

  • To wash, use 1 TBSP of clear, unscented detergent on a cold gentle cycle
  • Hang dry or tumble dry low. Slight shrinkage of up to 5% can be expected

  • Vacuum on low power with a non-rotary vacuum or suction attachment
  • Shedding is typical for most rugs for the first 6-9 months. The shedding quantity and duration varies by foot traffic and rug construction

Taylor is a washable wool rug carved in thick, loose lines that form a large-scale grid.

Studio Revival

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.

Material

New Zealand wool is a premium material beloved for its long, soft fibers. We blend it with other wools to achieve the right texture and durability. Wool’s natural lanolin makes it shiny and hydrophobic, protecting it from dirt and shedding.

Maker

We partnered with a small, Craftmark-certified, family-run weaving house where century-old timber looms and walls lined with photographs of their lineage showcase generations of craft.

Custom Program

Custom rugs are final sale from the time of purchase. The estimated ship time of your custom item can be found below the 'Add to Cart' button and varies based on size. Once the custom piece is produced it is first shipped to our warehouse for a final inspection before we send it to you.
