It's difficult to remove dog urine from wool as it basically burns the fiber. In the case of dog urine, all stains should be attended to as quickly as possible to minimize possible scarring. When removing a stain, it's important to dab the affected area rather than rub or scrub it. In case of spills, use a paper towel or cloth to blot the liquid. Add some clean water sparingly to the spot to dilute the stain (or wet a paper towel or cloth) and blot. If the stain is persistent, try using a mild detergent.
