Design
Cala is inspired by a traditional Turkish tulu, with a soft blue geometric central medallion and a simple single-line border. Its beige ground is full of movement, with occasional striations of cooler tones that add dynamism. It's been hand-washed multiple times to achieve extra-soft texture.
Collection
Taking cues from early nomadic techniques across the world, the Elemental Collection represents a foundational type of weave. Like the midcentury designers who loved them, these rugs prioritize the most essential elements of the form, and its original purpose: woven like a sheep's fleece, to keep a body warm.

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.
Material
New Zealand wool is a premium material beloved for its long, soft fibers. Lanolin, naturally present in all wools, gives this fiber a subtle luster and hydrophobic barrier, protecting it from dirt and shedding.
Maker
We partnered with a third-generation, family-run weaving house that specializes in plush pile rugs. Their expertise has helped us improve rug construction for durability and minimal shedding.
