Design

Chinle is a mixed-fiber flatweave rug woven on a Jacquard loom. Contrasting warp and weft threads give its micro-check pattern an abrash effect.

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.

Material

In this piece, jute, wool, and viscose are blended for texture. Jute is a natural fiber known for its strength. Wool naturally repels dust and dirt. Viscose is a soft, durable fiber derived from plant cellulose. A latex cotton backing adds stability.

Maker

Our partner started in yarn production over 30 years ago, giving them full control over quality when they expanded into weaving and a foundation to stay ahead through global sourcing of the best raw materials and machinery.
