Design
Taiyo's striped ground is bookended by large overlapping squares made up of small textured dots.
Collection
Dotto's hand-knotted washable wool pile forms a textural, geometric design. To create the patchwork of overlapping lines and dots, our team took inspiration from the practice of Boro, a resourceful Japanese mending style that repurposes textiles to create something new.
Studio Revival
LA · Istanbul · Bhadohi · Mumbai
Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.
Material
New Zealand wool is a premium material beloved for its long, soft fibers. Wool’s natural lanolin makes it shiny and hydrophobic, protecting it from dirt and shedding. This wool is woven onto a polyester warp for durability.
Maker
We partnered with a small, Craftmark-certified, family-run weaving house where century-old timber looms and walls lined with photographs of their lineage showcase generations of craft.
