Design
In this piece, a blend of New Zealand wool and European wool creates a natural abrash effect from cream to beige to brown. Its touch of color comes in from the cotton warp, shining through the wool weft. Schack's warm coral fringe feeds into a checkerboard border on top and bottom, while its ground features pleasantly thick vertical stripes.

Material
New Zealand wool is a premium material beloved for its long, soft fibers. Wool’s natural lanolin makes it shiny and hydrophobic, protecting it from dirt and shedding. This wool is woven onto a cotton warp for durability.
Maker
Our partner is a small, family-run weaving house with an in-house spinning mill, dyeing plant, weaving and washing unit, dedicated to researching new eco-friendly, weaving technologies.
