Collection

Lush hand-knotted shag rugs done in a wide variety of hues. Their soft hand is courtesy of a premium blend of yarns, and New Zealand wool yarn, which is space-dyed in small batches for an abrash effect that adds depth and variance of color. Plush, or shag, rugs are classic pieces with attitude, beloved by designers (and non-designers) alike for their comfort, personality, and timelessness.

Studio Revival

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.

Material

Made from the coats of Angora goats, mohair is a soft luxury fiber with a tensile strength comparable to steel for its size. We blend it with New Zealand wool, prized for its long and soft premium fibers. Like all wool, its natural lanolin creates a hydrophobic layer that repels dust and dirt, protects fibers from breakage, and gives wool its trademark luster.

Maker

We partnered with a third-generation, family-run weaving house that specializes in plush pile rugs. Their expertise has helped us improve rug construction for durability and minimal shedding.
