Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.
Material
In this piece, jute, wool, and polyester are blended for texture. Jute is a natural fiber with a golden sheen, known for its tensile strength. Wool's natural lanolin creates a hydrophobic layer that repels dust and dirt, protects fibers from breakage, and gives wool its trademark luster. A cotton backing adds stability and strength.

We partnered with an established weaving house with over 40 years of expertise, specializing in sustainable, handcrafted rugs made with handspun wool, hand-knotted detailing, and hand-picked fleece.
