Design
In this piece, we've space-dyed the wool for a subtle, brindled color variation, which is combined into a cozy hand-tufted construction. Chair's ivory ground is carved away to make space for large gray semicircles and rectangles. These meet a series of interconnected green lines reminiscent of rough architectural sketches.
Collection
Romp is a collection of bold naturals, inspired by the mild psychedelia found in Swedish rya rugs from the sixties. A natural wool ground is adorned with fresh, surprising swaths of color, and though the linework is straight, it's also chunky and whimsical. A mix of high and low looped pile lifts slightly off the floor, adding varied texture for your eyes (and feet).
Studio Revival

Before anything is sketched, our in-house design team starts with the weave. Materials, technique, and style then emerge. When finalized, Studio Revival rugs are sampled extensively until each piece is just right.
Material
Used in weaving for centuries, wool is prized for its soft texture and strength. Lanolin, naturally present in all wools, gives this fiber a subtle luster and hydrophobic barrier, protecting it from dirt and shedding. The wool is woven onto a cotton warp for durability.
Maker
Our partner is a family-run weaving house with 50 years of experience. As a Goodweave certified company, they're as devoted to their team as they are to the quality of their craft.
